This family owned restaurant is the manifestation of a power couples faith. Over the last 10 years founding members came and gone but Obed Hernandez (originally from Veracruz, Mexico) and Sandra Padilla (Negrito Yoro, Honduras)
Entered the Mexican Food Dominated market of Southwest Detroit bringing their own flavor from their respective homelands with Salvadorian, Caribbean and Mexican inspired dishes.

The sites features a dynamic menu page allowing updates to the menu while keeping the style layout consistent. Paired with a mobile app to manage incoming orders, client communications and more. The team also now has the ability to accept reservations should covid restrictions heighten.

For the first time ever the team at Antojitos is able to take orders online, directly from their website! Allowing for in-store pickups during covid-19.

Establishing the first site

Goal
EBD was tasked with desinging and developing the first digital beacon for Antojitos El Catracho. Since this exchange took place at the height of the covid-19 pandemic we wanted to take it a step further. Instead of building a static site with an address and contact information we established e-commerce features implementing online orders for the first time and book reservations. These features can be paused at the owners wish all from their new mobile app.
